[OCMEA] Upstate NY Ballet Program for Schools

Good afternoon -

 

I work with Upstate NY Ballet and I am hoping that through this listserv, I
can find some guidance for setting up a special performance of the Ballet's
upcoming presentation of Snow White for some of the Syracuse city schools.
Kathleen Rathbun, the Ballet's Artistic Director, is aware that the SSO will
not be presenting the Nutcracker this year, and she is also aware that in
recent years, this has been a popular field-trip of sorts for large numbers
of local students.  If I understand correctly, the outing was funded partly
by BOCES, and partly by the students themselves.  In any case, in the
absence of The Nutcracker, Kathleen would be very happy to consider a
special performance of Snow White (probably on Friday, November 21st),
provided there was enough interest.  If anyone can offer some suggestions on
how I might begin this process or who I should be contacting first, I would
really appreciate it.
