[OCMEA] Some Housekeeping Items

Hi all,
Happy September! As you are going through all your beginning-of-year
procedures, please take a moment to do a few things:

1.	Check your information in our online directory.
-You must log on to solochair.com to do this.
-If you do not have a solochair account, create one (GO link "Create a
New Teacher Account").
-Once you log in, check your information that is printed at the top of the page.
-Click on the GO link "Edit Account Info."
-Verify all information is correct.
-If you do not object to other OCMEA members having your home
information (this was always printed in the directory in the past) put
a check mark in the box by "Allow my local organization to print home
address in directory."
By default all member's home information is hidden. Please enable this.
Click the Green "submit" button at the bottom of the page.

Editorial comment: PLEASE REALIZE THAT EVERYTHING YOU INPUT IS LISTED
IN THE DIRECTORY EXACTLY AS YOU TYPE IT. Please capitalize properly.
Please check your spelling. We are a professional organization and
should strive to maintain that image.

2.	After logging on to solochair.com click the yellow bar "Print Your
Membership Invoice." Dues are voluntary in our organization and are
only $15. To be honest, I can think of no better way to contribute to
the success of all music students in the County than by becoming a
dues-paying member. Your dues not only enable us to not only put on
four incredible All-County festivals, but also help us fund a number
of initiatives, including funding scholarships for graduating Seniors
going on in music.


Thank you for all you do for the music students in Onondaga County.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all at our festivals and meetings
this year. Please pass this information on to other teachers in your
district (check to see if they're in the new directory) particularly
new teachers.
